Here is Today's Assignment!
One of your Technology Projects for this Quarter is to write an original poem. The poem must be typed using Microsoft Word in the computer lab. The poem must reflect curriculum guidelines, be free of errors, and it must be your original work. Your topic or theme must be related to our recent winter weather.
Elements of the poem must include:
· Page Border: in color and represent poem
· Heading: Name, date, class, teacher’s name as on your assignment sheet, correct punctuation, spelling and grammar.
Your Name, Date, Technology Integration Class – Poetry Project, Mrs. Jefferson
· Title: Large font, print in bold, one line, and/or in word art. The subject of the poem must represent “snow” or your winter storm experience.
· Body of poem: should not to exceed one page, must be at least 16 lines, and must be centered.
· Clipart: must represent topic or subject of poem
· The poem must be one page.
· Readable print- not too fancy.
· Color choice is important
· Do not use all Caps!
· You will be graded on originality, creativity, grammar and each element listed above.
Poetry Project is Due March 12, 2010. You may finish and turn in your project before the due date. Remember do not let your projects pile up. There is more to come.

Today you will publish a comment about the podcasts you have listened to from the website listed below. When you have finished you must comment to this blog by answering the questions below. To post a comment you must type your comment response, then select Name/URL and add your first name and last initial, then click Post Comment. Complete your tasks ahead of time so that you will have enough time to respond to the blog. You can always go back to these websites at anytime.

African Countries Power Point Project

Your African Country Power Point Project is due Next week: Here is a refresher on how to format your Presentation:
FORMATTING YOUR PRESENTATION
· Open PowerPoint
· Choose Blank Presentation
· Choose Title Slide Layout
· Apply The Background Of Your Choice
o Click on Format
o Select Background
o Click on the Drop Down Arrow and Select More Colors
o Click on the color of your choice and click OK
o Click either Apply if you want that color to appear only on that individual slide or Click Apply to All if you want that color on all of your slides
· Insert A New Slide
o Click on Insert
o Select New Slide
o Choose Title Only
o Click OK
